Why I LOVE this recipe!
Who doesn’t love a simple and easy breakfast in the morning? Something that you can just throw together, but will taste delicious AND give you fuel for the day! My all time favorite week-day breakfast is almond butter toast with dried goji berries!
Why almond butter over peanut butter?
To be honest I love both almond butter and peanut butter! I am a total sucker for the DIY nut butter stations at the grocery store and usually get both! I use more almond butter for baking and cooking due to the more robust flavor and lower allergy rate.
What’s up with goji berries?
Goji berries like many other berries have known antioxidant properties that help to fight free radicals caused by stress and daily living. When the antioxidant neutralize the free radical (unbalanced electron) it minimized the damage that is done to the body!
- 1 piece Wholemeal 5 seed bread
- 1 tbsp Raw almond butter ( or your favorite nut butter!)
- 1 tbsp dried goji berries or favorite fruit!
- Toast the bread
- Spread the almond butter
- Sprinkle your dried fruit
- Eat & go crush your day!
